Tyron Isaiah Hoggard-Thomas

Tyron Isaiah Hoggard-Thomas was born on May 5, 1997 to Michael D. Hoggard Jr. and Tayrn Harris (Thomas) in Willingboro, NJ. Tyron was suddenly taken from our lives on Wednesday, March 18, 2021 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware at the young age of 23.

Tyron graduated from the Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) West campus in 2015, where his major study was Culinary Arts. Upon graduation he enrolled in Burlington County Community College where he completed two years, majoring in Criminal Justice.  Tyron then went on to become a Hornet at the HBCU Delaware State University, where he continued his Criminal Justice major. Tyron was currently in his senior year.

Tyron was a special person to all that knew and loved him. Even though he only stood 5’3” tall whenever we would ask him how tall he was, he would reply, “6’9”.  He was the definition of confidence. Tyron developed his love for sneakers at a young age and became a “sneaker head” while in high school. He would attend sneaker conventions and begin trading & selling the latest and most hard to find sneakers. His love for sneakers landed him jobs at Champs, Finishline & JD’s. Tyron’s current place of employment, NIKE inc, was his dream job. Even though he was majoring in criminal justice he always envisioned himself working for the Nike corporation.

Tyron always went after what he wanted out of life and never let his struggles with his asthma stop him. He played baseball and wrestled through his childhood and through high school. Tyron was very competitive and loved to talk about how he would beat you on the basketball court and even possibly dunk on you.

Tyron had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand, as long as it didn’t involve him getting his hands too dirty. He hated having dirty hands. Tyron would always stop by and check on his friends’ parents/grandparents and was constantly calling his siblings and friends to make sure they were good or asking for a “cashapp” blessing.  He was always checking on his 4yr old Niece, Aviana, whom he referred to as “Baaabyyyy”. Even though at times she would tell him she was too busy for him.

Tyron leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Tayrn, his two fathers, Mike and John, his sisters Tiaja and Tyzhe, his brothers, John “Marseph” and Mikal, Eric and Rob. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Mark “Pop’s” & Margie “Youngin”, Mike “Duke” and Wanda and Bettie.  Tyron also leaves to cherish his memories a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Remember Tyron lived his life to the fullest and never let his asthma or anyone stop him from doing so.
