Robin Lynn Hallett was born October 22, 1959 in Princeton, New Jersey to the late Pearlymae Wright and Leroy K. Hallett Jr. To most, she was known as “Robbie,” “Boobie” or “Aunt Robin“. She entered Heaven’s gates on March 5, 2021. She was preceded in her death by her mother, Pearlymae Wright, her father, Leroy K. Hallett Jr., step-father, William C. Wright, her grandmother, Hannah “Grady” Spearman, her brothers, Kevin and Leroy Hallett, one sister, Alrita Bennett, and one niece Erica Rucker.
Robin first grew up in Hightstown, NJ, Etra Road and later in Willingboro, NJ where she graduated from Willingboro High School in 1977. She later attended Pierce College where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. She was an accountant for the Department of Labor with the State of New Jersey for over 30 years. She retired from the State of New Jersey in 2015. She also had a love for crafting and event planning.
Robin had a vibrant personality and a heart of gold. She was always the most fabulous person in the room and truly dressed to impress. Every room she entered was blessed with her infectious energy and vibrant personality. She truly left glitter wherever she went. She graciously helped anyone in need and always went that extra mile to make her family and friends feel special. She had a passion for shopping, going out to eat, planning events, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends.
Robin loved her family unconditionally. She leaves to mourn her sisters, Betty and Channie of Mt. Laurel, NJ and eight special sisters, Janella, Shelly, Claudette, Florence, Elsie, Robin Morrison, Robin Oliver and Erica Slaughter; her uncles, but more like her brothers, Joseph “JoJo”, Julius “Lee”(Yvette) , of Willingboro, NJ and Silas “Butch” of Rhode Island, one aunt, Jackie of Rhode Island; two nephews Michael (Kristina) and Erick ; three nieces, Pearlann (Cornell), Ebony, Cherese (Jeremy) and three special nieces, Jessica from Mt. Laurel, Nya from Georgia and Nayima from Levittown; two goddaughters Asha Quant from Texas and Sheray Norfleet from Florence, NJ ; seven great-nephews Naize (Bri), Quishon, Jeremiah, Ezra, Elijah, Ace, Sire and Zaven, ten great- nieces Xzyla, Laurean “Rachel”, Cyanci, Nyla, LaNyce, Mila, Sophia, Zenna, Maliah and Erica; and two great great-nephews Joziah and Lorenzo all from New Jersey; five special cousins, Barbara “Bobbi,” Dawn, Rev. Saunders “Poochie”, William “Billy” and Shaunta; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives, friends and loving ones who called her “Aunt Robin.”
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her time here on earth.
Life Celebration service will be private to the family. Family and friends may participate in a walk through viewing, Friday, March 12, 2021 10AM until 11AM at the TL Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, NJ.
