Beatrice Norman AKA Bea, Nana, and Mrs. Norman
Beatrice was born in Sumter, South Carolina on December 16, 1944. She attended school within the Public School System of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was there, at the age of 15 that she was introduced to the love of her life, James Norman. They both graduated from Edward Bok High School in 1962.
Beatrice and Norman were united in holy matrimony on March 7, 1964. From this union, three children were born. Beatrice worked at Jim’s Cleaners as a seamstress for many years. Over the years she became an Eastern Star as her husband was a Mason.
Beatrice loved sewing, reading books, and oh my God, what a library she had! She also loved plants, she had beautiful plants all around the house. She was a mother to all her children’s & grandchildren’s friends. Beatrice was one of a kind. Beatrice was a beautiful lady inside and out. Someone who will always be loved and remembered.
Beatrice is proceeded in death by her husband, James Norman; Parents (Jennie & Perry Bonaparte), two sisters (Kenee & Beverly Bonaparte), 1 niece (Monica Bonaparte).
She leaves to mourn: Three daughters; Wanda Hawkins (Levi), Tonia Norman, Tanisha Norman (Earl). Six granddaughters: Keyona, Tiara, Tamara, Malisha, Shania, and Shanel. One grandson, James P. Norman. One sister-in-law, Lucretia Moore of PA. Two nieces; Alexis Moore of PA, and Quienette Bonaparte. Two nephews; Maurice Bonaparte of PA and Juan Bonaparte of PA. Thirteen great grands, one great great grand, and a host of family and friends.
Beatrice Norman, of Mt. Holly departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Celebration of Life for family only will held Thursday, February 11, 2021 11am at the TL Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, NJ. Family & friends may participate in a walk through viewing 10am -11am. Service will be live stream at 11am at www.TLHuttonfuneralservices.com
