Frederick G. Spruell, Jr.

Frederick G. Spruell, Jr. was born on September 22, 1954 in Mount Holly, NJ to the late Dorothy M. and Frederick G. Spruell, Sr. Frederick, better known as Fred, Earth Worm, Rick AKA “Pretty Ricky”, was called home by God on February 5, 2021 after a long battle with health issues. Rick was raised in Burlington City, New Jersey where he attended St. Paul’s Parochial School, Burlington City High School, where he loved wrestling, and Technical Training for which he received a Certificate in Plumbing. Rick worked for Hooker Chemical Company for several years. He worked temporarily for Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. as well as Cumberland Farms and then moved on to work at the Burlington Coat Factory Menswear Division for some years. Rick’s hobbies were plumbing, cooking, yardwork and home improvements. He was wellknown for his hearty, loud laugh. Rick is survived by his loving daughter Karisma D. Spruell and grand-daughter Paris D. Roby, two brothers, Cornelius Spruell of Burlington, NJ, and Bruce Spruell (Kim) of Hanover MD, two sisters Cynthia Spruell of Burlington, NJ and Rosa Calabrese of Norfolk, VA., a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Private Memorial Service will be held at Nothing But the Word Deliverance Church in Florence, NJ @ 11 am.
