Govner V. Boykin III

 

Govner Vance Boykin III of Burlington City, NJ passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2021 at the age of 44. Govner was born to Anna E. Boykin and Govner Vance Boykin, Jr. of Burlington City on December 11, 1976.

 

Govner was raised in Burlington City where he attended Samuel Smith Elementary then Wilber Watts School and graduated from Burlington Co. Vo-Tech in 1995 with a degree in Welding.  Govner applied his craft as a welder and most recently was employed at Stylex Inc.  He was a member of the Local Steelworkers Union.  Govner was a member of Christ Baptist Church of Burlington.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized in 1992 and continued to serve the Lord.

 

He is survived by his parents, Govner Vance Boykin, Jr. and Anna (Nee Lillie) Boykin, his brother, Glenn Vincent Boykin, Fiancée, Amber Nicole Glascoe  and their loving daughter, Ariyah Sinai Boykin, in-laws and his second family Darrel Glascoe and his wife Laurie Thompson Glascoe, Inez Thompson and Jayden Glascoe.

 

He leaves to reminisce  his memory aunts and uncles; Alma Boykin, Samuel Lillie, Jr., Brigitte Lillie, John T. Lillie, Dorine Boon and husband Richard Boon, Biana Witherspoon and her husband Harold Witherspoon. His loving niece, Sharniece Robinson-Boykin, cousins, Tirrone Lillie and his wife, Caitlin Lillie, Isaiah Boon, Desirae Lillie, Elijah Witherspoon, Alexus Lillie, Tykel Lillie, Trinity Lillie and Ellianna Lillie , Glenn Vance “Rippie” Boykin, Yolanda (Nee Boykin) Collins, Deborah (Nee Boykin) Neal and her husband Fred. Numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 11am

Restoration Station, Rt. 130 Edgewater Park, NJ, Family and friends may view from 10am until time of service. Interment: Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Service to the family by The TL Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, NJ.
