La'Sasha Xanariah Marie Estrada

La’Sasha Xanariah Marie Estrada was born on April 23, 1989 in Willingboro, N.J. to André Bundy and Maria Empson. Sasha, as she was affectionately known, departed this life on April 20, 2021. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ into her life and then became saved and baptized.

Sasha was educated in the Willingboro School District then entered Iroquois Job Corps Center in Medina, N.Y. She relocated to Staten Island, N.Y. and later to Queens, N.Y. She was employed as a nursing assistant and home health aide caring for the elderly.

Sasha was a beautiful, loyal, and loving person. As a child, she was the ultimate comedian, always playful, and full of energy. Her laughter was infectious and her spirit would light up any room she entered. If you needed anything, you could depend on her to provide it. She lived a vibrant life.

As she transitioned into her adult life she stayed true to herself. Sasha has inspired many of us to be our authentic selves, reject the opinion of others, and live carefree. Her everlasting impact will be remembered and exemplified in the lives of those she leaves behind. Sasha was an extraordinary sister, daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

Sasha will be forever remembered by André Bundy (father) Chevail Bundy (mom), Maria Bundy-Stephens (mother) Michael Stephens  (step-father), Kevin McDonald (dad). Her bonus moms: Samaka Empson, Genever Ball, Octavia Davis, and Carol Berry. Her auntie Darlene Samuel and her grandmother Lorraine Shaffer.

Sasha will be celebrated by her sisters LaShia Bundy and LaShé Bundy, nephew Caiden Bundy, and her brother Jovan Ball. Special cousins: Brittany Empson, Shanika Samuel, and Danielle Samuel. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish her memory.

La’Sasha now joins her beautiful Grandmother Hester Samuel, whom she adored.

La’Sasha’s family would like to give a special thank you to her New York family including Kevin McDonald, Octavia Davis, Carol Berry and best friend Kalimah Cotton, for accepting and protecting her. Also Tyra Collins and her job corps family. God bless us all.
