Lewis Alexander Fox, Sr.

Lewis Alexander Fox, Sr. 61, departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Lewis was the first child born to the late Benny C. Fox and Naomi Todd Fox on September 5, 1960. He attended school in the Burlington City School District and graduated from Burlington City High School in 1978.

Lewis was a member of Bethlehem A.M.E. Church, Burlington under Rev. M. Shawn Bradley. He joined the Geda Missionary Society, becoming the only man to join. You could find Lewis doing what he loved most- cooking meals for special events and frying fish for fundraisers, and doing community work for church thanksgiving and holiday dinners. Lewis met Robin while cooking for the church and married on August 2nd, 2003.

Lewis's favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13 along with his favorite hymn, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”.

Lewis was a big sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He would watch the game with Lewis Jr. (Son) both yelling at the TV cheering for their team. Especially while the Cowboys were playing against the Washington Football Team, future son-in-law’s (Kyle) favorite team.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life and legacy his wife, Robin; his children Charisse Cephas (Kyle), Aneshia Bundy (Will), Lewis Fox, Jr.; grandchildren Christian, Levi, Journey, and Mari’elle Bundy; his sisters Jane Fox Long (Craig) and Mary H. Fox-Goodner (Darryl); nephew and nieces, Michael Brown (Jasmin), Courtney Tucker (Justin), and Simone Goodner; and a host of cousins and friends.
