Monica Kalen King was born to Paula Tooles King and the late Otis N King Jr on May 2, 1967 and departed this life on Friday, May 21, 2021, after a short illness.
The oldest of 4 children, Monica was raised in Beverly and Burlington Twp. educated in both Public School System. Graduating Burlington Twp. class of 1985. While in high school Monica participated in Color Guard and Track and Field, she excelled in both. As a child Monica attended Second Baptist and Fountain of Life churches, as an adult she attended Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, she was a believer in Jesus Christ.
A hard worker she was employed at CVS Distribution Center, then Koen Book Distributors for 14 yrs. and her last place of employment being Burlington Coat Factory.
Monica was a quiet, sweet, kind person with a beautiful spirit, who had a laugh and smile that would light up a room. She was a loving and protective big sister and aunt. She spent her time watching tv, being a girly girl and a doting aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Monica was a great friend to have, when she gave, she gave from the heart. Monica wore her heart on her sleeve. Every holiday, birthday or special occasion she made sure to reach out to family and friends. Her favorite color is orange.

Celebration of her Life Services will be held, Saturday, May 29, 2021 10am Graveside at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130,Burlington. Family and friends may view from 9am -10am at the TL Hutton Family & Friends funeral Service, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, NJ.
