Royal’s Life Story

Royal was born on December 30, 2016 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to Michael Coleman and Retta Cruse. Royal departed her life on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Royal was taught to be one with the universe and one with nature. She loved to play outdoors, play on the monkey bars in the park or try to build castles out of the mud. She was our tom boy. Royal also loved the water park at Hurrican Harbor where we had season passes.

Royal loved when her oldest sister Icyss would paint her finger nails and toe nails and our little Queen wanted everyone to see them. Royal also loved her big brother Elijah. He would read his younger sisters stories and they loved them. Royal and Aleyah loved to dance and sing together. The girls even made a YouTube video together as the banger sisters. One of Royal’s favorite games was Roblox and she would play it every time she got the chance. Even though our little Royal was a tom boy at heart she had her girley days too. Her favorite color was pink. Royal was a self-proclaimed vegan. She loved rice and broccoli.

The family lovingly called her Roy Boy. Royal had a brief life, but a full life. A life full of joy, a life full of education and exploration, and a life full of love.

Royal was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Reverend Dr. Joseph O. Bass, her grandfather Kevin Coleman and her sister Aleyah McIntyre.

Royal leaves to mourn and cherish her is her father Michael A. Coleman and mother, Retta Cruse, her sisters Icyss McIntyre and Mikaila Coleman, her brother Elijah Simmons, Grandmothers; Joann McIntyre and Julie Coleman, Great Grandmother Charline Bass, Grandfather Gerald Moody Sr. Uncles: Allen Coleman and Gerald McIntyre, Aunts: Karen Bass and Gina McIntyre and a host of family and friends.

I’ll always love you. –Daddy
